The sensational dancing sisters, Avathara and Aneshree Buldeo turned out the style at the Miss India Gauteng Pageant at the Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City during March.

In a powerful line of dancers, all vying for the top spot, Avathara produced a dazzling performance which impressed the judges who voted her the overall winner. She was also conferred with the Top Talent Award.

While her sister, Aneshree took second spot – also with a sizzling drama and  dance sequence. Movie star,  Aaliyah Chaboo was not far behind with her presentation and cliched the Second Princess’s crown. It was an evening of stunning performances which was further enhanced with the presence of the current Miss India Worldwide, Shree Saini who flew in from Seattle, Washington, United States of America.

Added to the glamour, Miss India South Africa, Serisha Maharaj put it an energetic dance routine which captured the attention of the audience. It was the first glimpse on stage since the announcement that she is off to India in September to take part in the Miss India Worldwide.

Miss India South Africa International, Kimberley Govender belted out three hit songs earning strong applause from the audience.
